Wordless Wednesday: When the light fades

When the light fades

The city slows its pace.
Keeping time with the reflecting, setting sun.

Take the eyes of this tourist.

And one harbour bathed in light.

Take one evening.

Like many others before it.

And many yet to come.

But still...not like any other night.

At least not for me.
 This night was my gift.

And this piece of plastic, glass and metal
I hold lovingly in my hands

When we come together there is magic.
Magic that responds to my touch.

And the light, O this light.

It is different every which way I turn.

So I turn and shoot.
Turn and shoot.

Pirouetting in the growing violet

Until the day is done.

  5. I love the perspective on the shots with the wooden railing in focus and the water, sun & sky blurred. Really really pretty. Nice job.
