The day breaks..

The day breaks
In salmon hues
With slow metamorphosis
Gives way to blue

Streaks of golden cloud
Stretch their fingers across the sky
Whispers of fog in the valleys
Surveyed from lofty heights

A new dawn, a new beginning
Another gift to be enjoyed
