Things I'm Loving {This is your life kiddo}

I wholeheartedly believe that no matter what is happening in your life, there is always something you can be thankful for..no matter how simple it is.

I'm running with a different format for this week - and the Things I'm Loving the most are the celebrations of our big guy Noah turning 7, celebrating with a family birthday today and an Olympics Party with his mates on Sunday.

I started a wee tradition for last year's birthdays creating a movie of the memorable moments in each of our children's lives over their past year. It certainly is a beautiful way to remember them and to see how much they have grown.

Noah lost both his front teeth pretty much on his sixth birthday and had no front teeth for the next six months - it's such a cute and gawky stage to go through. He also had a run-in with the flying fox at school back in March and the scar is still visible now (but gradually fading). He also grew a crazy amount over the past year - about 9cm, and often gets mistaken for being in Year 3 instead of Year 2 he's so tall.

He loves his football and his grown a lot in his confidence in tackling and being more aggressive on the field. His reading has also come on in leaps and bounds, and he now enjoys reading chapter books - his favourite kind of book is about kids who are secret agents - which is why he has also loved watching all the Spy Kids movies lately.

Kind of heart and quick to say sorry when he is in the wrong as well as forgive others when they are, he is often complimented by other adults and parents about how nice he is to have around. And we think he is pretty darn cool to be around too!

Happy birthday to our gorgeous boy!
