I didn't realise how much I'd been missing sunlight and warmth.
Watching them in their element.
I didn't know I'd been missing blue, cloudless skies.
And the pitter-patter of little feet on concrete as they zoomed past.
I had forgotten how precious that last hour of sun is before it sets.
How beautiful sun-flare is caught in any picture.
I didn't know how much my soul needed today...
I do now.

Gorgeous. I know exactly what you mean, I can handle the cold as long as there's light. How did you manage living in the UK with the lack of sunlight?
beautiful beautiful beautiful
just like your heart♥
love and light
I totally agree with you. This past winter was a long and grey one, even by our Scottish standards! And it was the first year I think I realised how constant grey skies can really affect how you feel.
Hope you get a bit more blue skies!
lovely pics.
Id get really depressed if I lived somewhere where there wasn't enough sunshine...
apparently there's a proper disorder call SAD syndrome http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seasonal_affective_disorder.
AGREE!
I found myself outdoors the other day wrapped up for the cold but soaking in the sun reading and listening to the kids playing
