Great Expectations

I'm sitting here looking at this. I was too scared to take it out of its box the first night and just gazed at it in awe instead.

Nervous with anticipation. Blessed by a husband's generosity. To share all his hard-earned eBay/Trade Me trading money with me. To encourage me to take the next step on this photography journey I find myself on.

I feel like a bit of a fraud. Will I really be able to do it justice?

Who am I to deserve this opportunity?

But it is still a journey to embrace.

And one I hope you will share in with me.

The journey so far....

So much to learn. But so very blessed that even one person believes there is more creativity to be found in these hands and these eyes.

Awesome! Having the right tools helps a lot but only if you already have an eye for it (which you do!). I like that top one best. Lovely depth of field.
