I wholeheartedly believe that no matter what is happening in your life, there is always something you can be thankful for..no matter how simple it is.
Makara Beach for Mothers Day
Blowing out the cobwebs after lunch was just what this mama ordered for her Mothers Day afternoon.
The boys were in their element, climbing rocks with the dexterity of mountain goats, with me trailing a long way behind, a little off balance carrying my camera bag over one shoulder, or that was my excuse anyway!
On the return journey, they were thrilled to find this natural giant see-saw and had a heap of fun swaying up and down.
I also enjoyed the opportunity to capture a traditional Mothers Day snap with these two pieces of my heart.
This was our last Mother's Day picture at Otari Wiltons Bush - and it's still one of my favourites.
Last Friday after school we had some time to kill, so we planned in a quick trip to the university to see if we could spot the resident tuatara (there were 2 out to play on this day), then a play at the cable car park (it was a bit boggy but we still had fun) before we decided to explore this fountain up close.
It's pretty impressive as non-showering fountains go, and the fact we could get so close without getting sprayed made for some lovely reflections.
Hey you with the sad face.......
Heavenly homemade
I was so delighted to receive this gorgeous package of homemade goodies from Leonie this week. She knew just how to pique my interest further into making my own cleaning products. My skin has never felt as gorgeous as after putting on her moisturiser.
Wow - just wow!
