Things I'm Loving 6.4.12

Shaving foam paint bath
I saw this cool idea on Pinterest a while back, and with the end of the shaving foam container in sight, we used the rest to have some bath time fun.

Supaglue and nail polish remover
Poor old Giraffey had a bit of an accident. I got a little carried away with my backswing on the vacuum cleaner last weekend and before I knew it Giraffe had toppled headfirst onto the floor and been decapitated.

So right now I'm loving supaglue, because thankfully it was nothing that a little supaglue couldn't fix. Only the supaglue worked a little too well and I got some on my fingers....doh! Thank goodness for nail polish remover too!

It's a Wrap
There are some things in our house that are guaranteed winners. Spag bol is one. Wraps (otherwise known as burritos) are another. I don't know how or why, but the boys chow down these stuffed full of vegetables without a single complaint.

Chicken Flied Lice on the other hand...well that's still a work in progress.

An egg with a mind of its own

The evidence
Like Hansel and Gretel with the crumbs, somebody left a wee trail of evidence they indulged in some reading  before settling down for their midday nap.

Loving how at age two and a half, the thought of hiding the evidence doesn't cross his mind!

Lolly cake
My first ever attempt at making it last weekend with two eager little helpers who were very good at cleaning up the left over Fruit Puffs..how easy and how yummy, it didn't last long!

Hot off the Factory Line: New Whittakers Peanut Butter Block
Holy cow....it's that good. Think Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and you get the idea. And these blocks are selling out fast at a supermarket near you (if you live in NZ that is!)

Good Friday
There is so much that is good and holy about this day. And I love that we now live in a world forever changed by the act of one man who came to save all that was lost. And we have been saved. If only we choose to see it.
Words from the song..In Christ Alone
There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave he rose again!
And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me

Have a very blessed Easter everyone.
